Sam OlayiwolaSam is a dancer here at the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently pursing his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Studies in the department of Theatre and Dance. Most recently he performed in Dance Repertory Theatre's Fall for Dance performing works by Manuel Vignoulle and David Justin. He marched the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle corps in the summer of 2014 earning second place at DCI WORLD championships. Sam played trombone from 6th to 12th grade so he is extremely excited to get back into the world of music and share his passion for movement with members and audiences!

Jacob SchnitzerJacob Schnitzer is a conductor, composer, educator, and horn player from North Texas. He is currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music where he is pursuing a B.M. in Music Studies alongside varied musical interests. Jacob can be seen conducting with Con Moto, the Engineering Chamber Orchestra, the UT String Project’s Chamber Orchestra, and in student-organized ensembles at the Butler School of Music. His compositions and arrangements have been performed on campus and all over Texas, including at a recent event featuring former President George W. Bush. Jacob resides in Austin with no wife, kids, or cats.

Ben CarrollBen Carroll is a brass musician and educator in Austin, Tx. He holds a degree of Bachelors of Music from the University of Texas at Austin where he studied horn under the instruction of Patrick Hughes. Ben has been a substitute horn with the Round Rock Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the Austin Civic Orchestra and Waterloo Brass Quintet. During the week Ben works as a private horn instructor in the Austin area. During the summer Ben is on the road working as brass instructional staff for the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corp's in Denver, Colorado. Having marched and soloed with the Santa Clara Vanguard A corps and the Santa Clara Vanguard International Corps, Ben uses his skills as a marching specialist at many local high school band programs. Ben also works closely with the electro-acoustic group Chic-A-D, based out of Austin, Tx.

Greg HornerGreg Horner is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin graduating with a degree in Music Studies - Instrumental Education. Greg's virtuosity on the trumpet has landed him performing opportunities with the University Texas Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra and the UT opera. Greg maintains an active position in the UT Trumpet Choir who has been invited to perform at the Nation Trumpet Conference in 2016. As a performing artist with the Blue Devils and Bluecoats drum & bugle corps, Greg has had the opportunity to give performances across America and Europe. Using his experiences Greg now works on brass staff with the Blue Knights drum & bugle corps from Denver, Colorado. Devoted to education, Greg is currectly assistant director at Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock ISD, In his free time, Greg enjoys recording and playing as a free lance musician. With Con Moto, Greg serves as a designer and staging specialist.

Rick DrewryRick Drewry is a percussionist from Murfreesboro, TN who holds a degree in Music Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin and is currently pursuing a Masters in Percussion Performance at the University of Texas at Austin. Rick’s talents have landed him positions in some of the best front ensembles in the world, 2012 - 2014 seasons with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (2013 PASIC Marching Percussion featured ensemble and pioneering the first ever marimba line on the field in 2014) and Music City Mystique’s 2014 WGI season. Along with his experiences in marching percussion, Rick has a passion for world music and has been a featured musician at the Universidade de Federal de Bahia in Salvador, Brazil and has played in UT’s Caribbean Ensemble and Steel Pan groups. Currently, Rick is a front ensemble technician for Franklin High School in Franklin, TN, and has taught extensively in the SCGC WGI Circuit - Clarksville Audio Theater as a front ensemble technician and Percussion Caption Head for E-93 Winds (SCGC WGI Winds 2015 Gold Medal recipients). Rick’s mentors include Dr. Julie Hill (Director of Percussion Studies at the University of Tennessee at Martin and current President of the Percussive Arts Society), Dr. Nola Jones (Director of Music for Metro Nashville Public Schools), and Erik Johnson (President and Founder of Innovative Percussion Inc.).

William WrightWilliam George Wright is a student at The University of Texas at Austin studying trombone music performance and is expected to graduate in the year 2019. In addition to Con Moto, William performs with the UT Trombone Choir, Big Wy's Brass Band, and other UT ensembles. William's dedication to the Trombone has allowed him to travel across the United States to play his music. From the Carnaval Brasileiro to Wind Ensembles at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY, William enjoys performing with a wide diversity of ensembles. During his earlier years, William's hard work awarded him the honor of Eagle Scout. Maintaining an active role in his community, you can find Will serving in his leadership fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, as the founding Father.

Bryce Cotner Bryce Cotner is a horn player from The Woodlands, Texas. He is currently a freshman at The University of Texas studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Cockrell School of Engineering. Alongside his studies, Bryce strives to find multiple avenues to fulfill his love for music and horn playing. Many of these avenues include performance ensembles of which he is currently a member of Con Moto, UT’s University Orchestra and Engineering Chamber Orchestra. Bryce has also performed across the country with the Blue Knights and Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps. His time with these corps led him to work this past fall with the Round Rock High School Dragon Band. Between studying for his major and pursing his playing, you can find Bryce either happily playing a round of golf or on the water with the UT Water Ski Team.
Luke BerringerLuke Berringer is a Bass Trombonist from Austin,Texas. He studies at The University of Texas at Austin, in pursuit of a degree in Music Education. Luke has performed with several prestigious ensembles, including The University of Texas Trombone Choir, The TMEA Honor Choir, and The Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps. Luke has also performed at events such as TMEA, The Midwest Clinic, and on The Drum Corps International Summer Tour. Luke performs with various different ensembles at UT such as, the UT Trombone Choir, Wind Symphony, and Symphony Band. Luke maintains an active teaching schedule, as an assistant marching band instructor, and a private trombone studio. Upon graduation, Luke wishes to pursue graduate studies in orchestral conducting, with aspirations to become an orchestral conductor.
Zach SantosZach Santos is a trumpet player and educator from Round Rock, Texas. He is currently pursuing a B. M. in Music Studies at The University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music. Zach currently studies under the trumpet Professor, Ray Sasaki at the University of Texas. Zach has performed in several Drum Corps in recent summers, and uses his knowledge to teach local high school marching bands. Zach teaches private lessons and master classes at several surrounding middle schools and volunteers at the Texas Empowerment Academy's high school band program.
Ryan MurrayRyan Murray is a sophomore Music Performance Major at The University of Texas where he studies under Dr. Nathaniel Brickens. He has studied with some of the great trombone players of the world, including Joe Alessi, Michael Mulcahy, Mark Lusk and Peter Ellefson. He has also played with many prestigious groups, such as the World Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Interlochen Philharmonic Orchestra, The National Honors Performance Series Orchestra in Carnegie Hall, and the Texas All State Philharmonic Orchestra. Ryan hopes to pursue his DMA in trombone performance and play in a major orchestra and teach at the collegiate level.

Justin OchaJustin Ochoa is a percussionist performance student at the University of Texas at Austin and will graduate in 2019. Justin's mentors a the Butler School of Music include Dr. Thomas Burritt. At UT, Justin's skills have awarded him with the opportunity to performed with the New Music Ensemble, UT Wind Ensemble, the Symphony Orchestra, and other school ensembles. Justin graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan and has performed at Carnegie hall with eight blackbird, an American contemporary music sextet based in Chicago, Illinois. You may have heard Justin perform with IAA orchestra on the radio show From the Top, which features America's best young musicians. Fulfilling his passion for education, Justin now teaches music in the San Antonio area. Not limiting himself to music, Justin enjoys a wide array of hobbies that include exercising, reading, and watching videos of pugs.
Stone WangStone Wang is a sophomore studying music education at the University of Texas Butler School of Music, and is currently studying horn under the instruction of Patrick Hughes. As a horn player from Sugar Land, Texas, Stone's expertise has given him opportunities to perform with musical ensembles such as the Houston Youth Symphony. Stone is a member and has toured with the Santa Clara Vanguard A corps and the Santa Clara Vanguard International Corps, which has taken him to cities across the United States and even as far away as Taiwan! Having a great passion for the marching arts, you can find Stone using his passion and knowledge teaching marching for the Round Rock High School Dragon Band. Aside from playing horn, Stone is also a passionate novice member of Texas Crew.
Vance MillerVance began his graduate studies at the University of Texas in 2016, pursuing a doctorate in Computer Science. Before UT, he attend the University of North Carolina and was a member of many musical ensembles including the marching band, symphony band, wind ensemble, Lab orchestra and Contemporary Music Ensemble. In earlier years, Vance attended the Governor's School of North Carolina for instrumental music in 2010 and was a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps in 2011 and 2012. In his free time Vance likes to take pictures of cats.
